Java Environment Setup

In this tutorial, we will know all the things of java environment setup to run our java program to our computer using notepad or any editor.

If you beginner in java, and started coding in java, so the first thing will that to set up a java environment before running any program.

There are a few things that must be clear before setting up the environment.

There are a few steps to setting up a java environment.

Step 1: First download JDK10 at >> Download JDK10.

Step 2: After download, run the .exe file and follow the instructions to install Java JDK10 on your Computer.

Step 3: Once you installed JDK10 on your computer, Go to C:\Program Files\Java\jdk-10.0.2\bin or C drive -> Program Files -> Java -> jdk-10.0.2 -> bin and copy this path.


Step 4: Now, Go to Control Panel -> System and Security -> System -> Advanced System Setting. Under the Advanced System Setting option click on Environment Variables.

Step 5: Now, Click on the path variable under System variables and then click on the edit button.


Step 6: A new window is open. Now, click the new button and paste the copy path like this and then click the OK button.


Step 7: Now to check the installation is done correctly or not, open command prompt and type javac -version. You will see the java version that means You have successfully setup the java environment. Now you ready for coding in java.
